Risk Disclosure

Last updated: August 8, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, what Asimtop is and is not, and the risks involved in running automated trading systems — whether built by us, by you, or by anyone else.

What Asimtop is — and is not

Asimtop is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, fund manager, or signal provider. We build software tooling and infrastructure — execution systems, risk controls, monitoring, and reliability engineering — that you deploy and operate under your own control and your own trading account. We do not hold your funds, execute trades on your behalf, or tell you what to buy or sell.

Nothing on this site, in our sales materials, or delivered as part of an engagement is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument.

Automated trading carries real risk

Automating a trading strategy does not remove the risk of trading — it changes how that risk shows up. Automated systems can:

  • Execute a flawed strategy faster and more consistently than a human would
  • Fail in ways that are hard to notice quickly (a stuck position, a silent connectivity loss, a misconfigured risk limit)
  • Behave differently in live markets than in testing, due to slippage, latency, and liquidity

You can lose some or all of the capital you trade with, including through system failure as well as market movement.

Backtests and past performance

Where any backtest, simulation, or historical result is shown — by us or by anyone — treat it as illustrative only. Hypothetical or backtested performance has inherent limitations and typically does not account for real-world slippage, fees, latency, and liquidity constraints the way live trading does. Past performance, live or backtested, is not indicative of future results.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee that any system we help build, audit, or harden will be profitable, or that it will behave a particular way under future market conditions. Our engagements are scoped around engineering outcomes — correctness, reliability, observability, and risk controls — not trading performance.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own trading decisions, for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you (including in your jurisdiction and your broker’s), and for evaluating whether automated trading is appropriate for your circumstances. If you are unsure, consult a licensed financial adviser before trading with real capital.
